A Boy Choir Poem

There once was a town that did not sing
Not even a sound of a bell would ring
But then, there came a sound
It was a Boy Choir the village had found.

When the boys began to sing
All the bells began to ring
When the sounds had reached the homes
People came out to watch them roam.

Then the birds came down to sing
Again the bells began to ring
The choir was telling a story
About God in all his Glory.

Now the people laugh and sing
For now their hearts have that ring
Then the boys said, "All year long make that sound"
For we shall be back the next year round.
