COLEMAN COOPER
As the Artist/Educator/Philanthropist that he was, Coleman Cooper, in his moment of inspiration envisioned the attributes of Apollo, the Greek Sun-God of Beauty, Love, Music and Medicine, visiting them upon his group by the selection of such a name. Mr. Cooper's unique venture would become for all an Orpheusian Journey of the Soul.
With his promising aggregation of future men, he shaped a miniature civilization in harmony with self: wise in its awareness of creativity and judicious in the economic use of time. His pupils learned from this life-experience the laws, dynamics and balances of enriched living. He saw the "Sun of Love" fly bright-winged across the face of America and, surpassing all others, become a symbol of beautiful singing and an embodiment of those innate qualities which are the products of intelligence, inspiration and industry.
What sound, what music, what ethereal beauty - that brings such resonance to living!!!
