The Pasadena Boys Choir

A Rich and Noble Tradition

The boys choir as an institution and historical art form is probably one of the world’s oldest surviving youth activities. Because of the tone quality which is unique to a boy’s voice, composers throughout history and the present day have written for this beautiful musical form. In cities and towns across America, the boys choir has become a significant educational and social resource, enriching our communities with energetic and eager youth who are committing themselves to high standards and humanitarian ideals. Never before in the history of America has there been a greater need for this important youth activity. Its origins, like the Olympics, are ancient; its contribution to contemporary American society is timely.
