Nunc dimittis
(Luke 2: 29-32)

 

Secundum verbum tuum in pace: 
Quia viderunt oculi mei 
salutare tuum. 		 O Lord, according to Thy word
in peace:
Because mine eyes have seen
Thy salvation,
Quod parasti ante faciem 
omnium populorum, 
Lumen ad revelationem gentium 
et gloriam plebis tuae Israel. 		 Which Thou hast prepared before
the face of all people;
A light to enlighten the
Gentiles and the glory of Thy
people Israel.

Gloria Patri, et Filio, 
et Spiritui Sancto. 
Sicut erat in principio. 
et nunc, et semper, 
et in saecula saeculorum.
Amen.

 Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be, world
without end. Amen.
