The Old Hall Singers are dedicated to the performance and preservation of early music, particularly works from the medieval and Renaissance periods. Drawing inspiration from the "Old Hall Manuscript", a significant source of English polyphony from the early 15th century.
Repertoire includes sacred and secular music from a variety of sources, with the intention of historical accuracy in as much as the sources allow. Period insruments are used where available, and historical performance techniques, ornamentation and vocal styles are genrously applied.
